The UK’s primary music business journal is offering a free 5 month
subscription to NOMEX subscribers.
Record of the Day is the music industry's favourite daily digest
providing a raft of original and aggregated news from all UK and
international media outlets, encompassing press and online. Each daily
mailout also contains a soundclip of the best in new music chosen by the
RotD team. The company also produces a weekly music industry magazine
containing comment, news, data, listings, interviews and of course,
clips to the best new music out there. Usual cost £150 per annum.
Feature your artist as Record of the Day
Record of the Day’s daily email newsletter is distributed to 5,000
people. All industry – ranging from A&R and everybody at the majors and
most good indie labels, publishers, radio producers and heads of music
(including BBC Radio 1, R2 and 6Music), MTV UK, all the best British
music journalists, talent bookers, PRs, pluggers, lawyers and a host of
other music-related companies.
The weekly PDF magazine offers a more in-depth look at the week's events
and contains a round-up of featured tracks, with extra focus on music
companies, people and events that matter to the music industry as well a
weekly comment piece. This is sent out to approximately 3,000 full
subscribers. It is also now distributed to a US list of about 2,000
people which is already resulting in some great sync offers and
awareness for UK and Nordic acts over there.
Record of the Day has been publishing for nine years. It has a
reputation as an independent and reliable source of daily news and music
recommendation, is firmly established across the UK industry and some
influential international subscribers too.
The soundclip costs £280. It's not a pay-for-play slot, but an
editorial choice made by Record of the Day’s music editor and
delivered to the industry's key decision-makers. Your first feature as a
NOMEX Record of the Day subscriber will cost just £195.
