Data från BigChampagne visare att U2:s nya album No Line On the Horizon laddades ner från fildelningsnätverk 445 000 gånger under perioden från den 18 februari, när det läckte ut, till den 2 mars när albumet hade release.
Eric Garland från BigChampagne kommenterar hur stor effekt detta har haft på försäljningen av albumet:
"They're probably losing out, but to find out how much, you'd have to get into the head of every music fan and assess whether they would have bought the album if they hadn't gotten it for free. It's a philosophical debate – there's no resolution."
